Mitzi Perdue Mitzi Perdue - "Who Came First, the Chicken Man or the Egg Lady?" Mitzi Perdue, known primarily for her charity work and for her famous husband, "Chicken Man" Frank Perdue, is actually a world renowned egg artist and the founder of a company called EggScapes. Under the EggScapes name, Mrs. Perdue creates one-of-a-kind, hand-carved and decorated dioramas out of the real eggshells of geese, rheas, emus, ostriches, and cassowaries, none of which are endangered. Historically, EggScapes had only been available for charity raffles and auctions or for display in local stores and museums. Mrs. Perdue came to us to help her to expand her reach and visibility within the mass market by making EggScapes more readily available for purchase. Our PR efforts were targeted to national bridal publications, national craft publications and national women's magazines. The number of print press hits we received far exceeded Mrs. Perdue's initial expectations, but we went above and beyond by involving her in a local NYC egg balancing event which was covered by 2 local NY news stations and during which we arranged for a live radio interview for Mrs. Perdue on WCBS Newsradio 88.
