Omega Watches OMEGA - Celebrating 150 Years of Innovation and Entreprenuership in Watchmaking Since January of 1997, KD&E has been responsible for special events marketing, publicity and basic public relations with regard to the US market on behalf of Omega US and International. In addition, we also arrange and coordinate appearances by Omega's family of celebrity ambassadors such as supermodel Cindy Crawford, golfer Ernie Els, racecar champions Michael Andretti and Alex Zanardi, tennis star Martina Hingis, and Pierce Brosnan. To our credit, we have accomplished all of this and have gone above and beyond our market boundaries by creating events that have gone on to receive both domestic and worldwide press attention. Two of our events were each featured, separately, on CNN and we continue to receive favorable event press from E! Entertainment Television. Aside from the development and management of press worthy special events, KD&E was also specifically asked to help to expand Omega's print editorial coverage in the US. In less than one year, KD&E helped bring the Omega name and products to the pages of Time, Popular Science, GQ, Playboy, VOGUE, Elle, Mirabella, P.O.V., Paper, W, WWD, Wired, and Success, to mention a few of the more popular consumer books. This list does not even take into account the number of placements we have received in automotive, tennis, and golf magazines, local and national newspapers, as well as all of the major jewelry trade publications. Event highlights from 1997 include: the US tour of Omega's Lunar Rover exhibit, parties/events in Miami, Detroit, LA and San Francisco to promote Omega's involvement with the CART racing circuit, Omega sports memorabilia donation to the Official All Star Cafe, a charity golf chipping contest in NYC's Washington Square Park featuring pro golfers Ernie Els and Bernhard Langer, and Omega's first annual Celebrity Golf Tournament. Event highlights from 1998 included: "Star-studded" parties in Miami and LA to promote Omega's involvement with the CART racing circuit, the launch of Omega's new X-33 Mars Watch at NASA and Space Center Houston in Texas, featuring a live satellite up-link to the Mir space station and a fashion show starring former US Astronauts and a Russian Cosmonaut, and the launch of supermodel Cindy Crawford as Omega's new US Ambassadress.
